As first to market with its 24/7 access, no lock-in contracts, low fees and member friendly policies, Jetts revolutionised the fitness industry by making health and fitness available to more people than ever before.
Founded in 2007 by husband and wife, Brendon and Cristy Levenson, the first Jetts opened its doors in Helensvale on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The second gym was opened six weeks later by Chris and Carly Evans, the first franchise owners to join Jetts.
Following incredible growth both within Australia and globally, Jetts was acquired by Quadrant in 2016 which formed Fitness and Lifestyle Group; Asia Pacific’s leading health and wellness group. Fitness and Lifestyle Group's portfolio of globally recognised brands also includes Fitness First Australia, Goodlife Health Clubs Australia, Barry's Bootcamp Asia-Pacific, California Fitness & Yoga, California Centuryon, Yoga Plus, UFC Gym and ERI International Clinic and Zap Fitness.
Since then, Jetts has expanded to become a market leader with a global network of over 280 gyms across Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Thailand, UK and Vietnam.

Brendon started Jetts with the simple idea to remove as many barriers as possible that were stopping people live a healthy and active life. To date, contract gym memberships continue to be one the biggest reasons preventing Aussies from exercising. Why? Because life changes. While the NPS score itself is useful, it is the daily feedback that we receive from our members which is most powerful. This combined with extensive market research has enabled our model to evolve and adapt ensuring that we remain relevant to future generations of fitness enthusiasts.
We are now more excited than ever before to shake up the fitness industry once again with our new Results Based Integrated Training Gym concept, which is all about getting the most amount of members in the best shape of their lives in the least amount of time: done in the Jetts way.
Our latest product, J Series, which was launched in 2018 as part of our new gym concept has become the heartbeat of many of our gyms. J Series, which is our high intensity interval training (HIIT) product has been developed by our Training Gym Head Coach, Bart Walsh, to deliver fast results for our members. Featuring 30 minute technology-led sessions that have been expertly designed with pumping music and motivating Coaches to ensure our members love it and keep coming back!

When it comes to people, Jetts is unlike any other brand out there. The franchise model itself operates with a lean structure; relying on one super star Club Manager to run it like they own it, an Assistant Club Manager, J Series Coaches and contracted Personal Trainers.
Many of our franchise owners have chosen our model for this reason as it enables them to continue with their other day-to-day commitments, be it family, career or travel; meaning that our franchise owners are able to spend a few hours each week adding value to their business through sales and marketing, fitness experience, business management and leadership.

From the moment you join the Jetts family you’ll see that our culture is a little bit different: we like to think of it as the Jetts Way. From your induction as a new franchise owner, to the five day Club Manager Training Program through to attending The Gathering, our annual network strategy launch. The Jetts Way is about taking what we do seriously but not each other and it typically involves getting comfortable with being uncomfortable by getting outside of your comfort zone.
The Gathering is definitely a highlight to our year where our franchise owners and Club Managers can get together to network, learn, share best practice and catch up. We’ve also been known to throw the occasional fire walk into the event, just to keep everyone on their toes.

From humble beginnings to becoming an award-winning global franchise brand, we are very proud to say that over a decade later franchise owners, like Chris and Carly, have continued to grow their investment portfolio and are more excited than ever before to be apart of the Jetts franchise network. We are also very proud of the proven franchise model that we have built which continues to consistently deliver outstanding financial results.
This doesn’t happen by accident, instead it’s quite the opposite. We have invested a considerable amount of time and money into the necessary support infrastructure of our franchise network.
As a franchise owner you will work alongside a State Director and Business Performance Manager to ensure your gym is on track and growing daily. With extensive fitness industry and franchise experience, your State Director and Business Performance Manager, will be actively on the ground with you, shoulder to shoulder, supporting you from presale right through to multi-site operation.
At a Support Office level we’re pretty hands on and are committed to being actively engaged in your area on a regular basis. Our Business Owner Forums, which are held quarterly, are a great opportunity for all of our franchise owners and leadership team to come together to discuss how the business is tracking, key developments and projects and answer any questions that the network may have. In the usual Jetts way, this is typically followed by a social catch up at the bar enabling the franchise owners to reconnect and network with each other.
Being loved by our owners is not just about returns, it’s also about the relationship which is why we have created an advisory group with franchise owner representatives from each state. Meeting on a bi-annual basis with the leadership team and state directors, the advisory group discuss and debate key strategic decisions which may impact the network. This is a fantastic sounding board for our Support Office Team and enables excellent two way communication with the portfolios.
THE PROCESS
Step 1: Meet and greet
We know that this is an important investment decision, so the first step towards owning your Jetts franchise is to collect your free information pack. From here, we’ll supply you with an application package and arrange for you to meet with the State Director in your preferred location. This meet and greet is a fantastic opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about us and the model, and it gives our State Director the chance to share with you our vision for the future, insight into the operational side of the business and to also get to know each other.
Step 2: tHE business model
Following your meet and greet, our team will work with you on understanding our business model, the steps to opening your gym and will assist you in completing your application pack and business plan.
Step 3: The Green Light
To get the green light, we will work with you on the final financial approval required to become a Jetts franchise owner. Once you’ve got this, you’ll receive an invoice for the Franchise Fee and the team will then support you through preparing your legal documentation.
Step 4: Ready, Jetts, Go!
At this point in the process you have already found the perfect location, if not don’t worry because we have recently commissioned Spectrum Analysis to perform a country wide mapping process to identify which locations present the best opportunities for a Jetts gym. Based on this, we have an abundance of Tier 1 locations ready to go for your Jetts gym! Once you have an area identified, our Development Team will then work closely with you to negotiate and secure the location. From there it’s go time, and our Build Project Manager will lead you through a comprehensive build program from start to finish. We’ll be with you 100% of the way.
Step 5: Rocket-Fuelled Start
With your franchise progressing through the build program, it’s time to switch your focus onto opening your gym. Preparation is key, so to arm you with all the tools and skills for operating a Jetts gym successfully you will attend a five day induction on The Jetts Way at the Jetts Support Office on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. This is a great opportunity for you to deep dive into the business and immerse yourself in the nitty gritty of the business, it’s also a great chance to meet our broader Support Office team, which includes Marketing, Finance, Technology, Franchise Development and Operations.
Once you have a firm opening date, our Support Office team will guide you through a 6 week presale marketing campaign for opening your gym. The presale marketing campaign focuses on creating hype within your area about your gym and more importantly, it aims to presell memberships so that when you open your doors the gym is already pumping and break even is within reach!
